One of our most dramatic pieces — the barn owl frozen in the final moment before landing, wings fully spread and talons extended. The contrast between the dark oxidised wing surfaces and the polished underwing feathers creates a remarkable visual effect in changing light. Mounted on a natural oak post with a curved steel support that makes the owl appear to truly be in flight.
